Swain Brook Campground is located on the south side of Sentinel Mountain, at the base of the White Mountain National Forest in Wentworth, New Hampshire. With a great central location, the campground is within striking distance to most major attractions, the Lakes Region, the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region, the South Central Region and Vermont. Clark's Trading Post, Whale's Tale Waterpark, Polar Caves, Franconia Notch State Park, Hobo Railroad, and Newfound Lake are all located within 25 miles. Just around the corner is the Warren Fish Hatchery where children of all ages will enjoy feeding the enormous trout in the show pools.
The campground covers 417 forest acres, which include several mountain brooks, four miles of hiking trails, scenic areas, nature, wildlife, and recreational facilities.The 65 acre camping area is located at the southern section of the property with the remaining 352 forest acres occupied with our very own nature park. Swain Brook is a quiet family campground; quiet hours are from 10:00PM to 8:00AM. This rule is strictly enforced!
